Due in part to the sisterly love (and sibling rivalry) on stage, sitting in the audience at a BETTY show feels very much like you’re at your cousin’s wedding. Only the band is actually worth watching. This performance came at the end of a summer of touring and it showed: the group was tight, the performances flawless, the set list balanced – including both old favorites and new numbers. The BETTY audience is nothing if not loyal, and the band earns that loyalty, year after year, charming listeners with witty lyrics and enchanting them with bewitching harmonies.
